Web site photo saves baby’s life
This is one bizarre story today about a woman in the United Kingdom who may have saved the life of a Florida baby - simply by noticing something odd in a photo posted on BabyFit.com Website.
The woman, Madeleine Robb, saw something in the left eye of the child of a friend she met through the site. The two women had given birth to their kids on the same day. After seeing the image, Robb emailed her friend with her suspicions.
It turned out that the baby, Rowan, has a potentially deadly form of cancer, retinoblastoma.
Although Rowan will, unfortunately, lose her left eye, Megan Santos has called Robb, who hails from England, a “hero,” because the online diagnosis may have saved her baby’s life.
