Sony introduces camcorder designed for social networking
Before I call it a night here in Las Vegas, I wanted to toss out this one final item announced today. Seems fitting to put it in this spot, given its intended use. Sony’s new MHS-CM1 Webbie and MHS-PM1 Webbie were designed with social networking and Internet posting in mind.
It films in MPEG-4 format for easy video transfers and offers 5 megapixel photos. It also includes software that directly upload video and images to sites like Shutterfly, Picasa, YouTube, Dailymotion and Photobucket.
The MHS-CM1 is available now for $200. The MHS-PM1 will be available in April for $170. Both come in several colors.
