Are you ready for the digital TV conversion?
Wednesday (Dec. 17) is a big night in the world of digital television conversion. At 6:25 p.m., all local broadcasters are going to kill their analog signals for five minutes and go digital.
The goal is to help people across the nation whether their TVs are ready for the Feb. 17 transition. Just turn your TV on and watch. Your TV will let you know if there’s an issue.
I sort of operate under the assumption that anyone who finds this blog is probably using cable, satellite, etc. for their television needs. And while I like to think my assumptions are always correct, I know that’s simply not the case.
So I want to toss out a few Web sites here that will help you (or maybe someone you know) get ready for the switch.
