iPhone Friday: Apple’s new toy makes it debut
It’s hard for me to believe the second incarnation of Apple’s hit iPhone will generate the same level of buzz enjoyed last summer when the company debuted the inaugural model.
That one was preceded by a six-month marketing campaign and greeted by lines of eager shoppers. The demand was so strong that some buyers turned around and sold their new phones on eBay or Craigslist for a few hundred dollars profit. I wonder if we’ll see the same thing this weekend.
It all starts up again tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. when the first phones go on sale in St. Louis. Here’s a helpful AT&T site that’ll pinpoint your closest retail location.
