University of Illinois is nation’s most wired campus
Good news for the University of Illinois coming off its 52-42 loss this weekend to the Missouri Tigers. Think of it as a consolation prize of sorts: The university at Urbana-Champaign was named the nation’s top school in a recent study examining high-tech campuses.
The rankings, put together by PC Magazine and The Princeton Review, can be seen here.
One of the things that’s interesting about these rankings is just how fast things change. At the time of the last study, Illinois came in at no. 6. The top school was Villanova University, which fell to no. 15 this year. In fact, only eight of the schools ranked in 2006 made this year’s list.
And in case you are wondering, the University of Missouri didn’t make the list. You can’t win ‘em all.
