Phonevite lets you leave multiple, simultaneous, voice mails
Tim Barker
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Here at the Post-Dispatch, we are coming to the end of another United Way campaign. And here’s one of the things I remember from the campaign. Every so often, the little voice-mail signal on my phone would light up without my phone ever ringing. Invariably, it would be some recorded promotional message that was sent out to - I am guessing - every single working phone in the building.

Well, now you can be the guy who sends out tons of messages - without actually having to make tons of phone calls.

Phonevite lets you record a message and then send it out to a list of phone numbers. There are two versions - free and paid. Among the difference, with the free service, you are limited to 25 calls per event.

Here are some of the suggested uses:

  • Mass wake-up calls
  • Reminders for tasks and follow-ups
  • Conference call reminders
  • Weather cancellations
  • Last-minute party/event reminders
  • Quick motivational message to the team

I wonder which one I’d prefer to get - one of those mass e-card invites, or a mass voice mail invite.
