Here are some things to consider before getting that iPhone
I’m not an iPhone user, so I can’t really get into the pros and cons of choosing one of those oh-so-trendy phones over, say, a Blackberry Curve or Palm Pre. But here’s an amusing article at MSNBC by a fellow who talks about the love/hate relationship he’s developed with his iPhone.
Here’s a paragragh that seems to pretty well sum up the author’s thoughts:
The iPhone’s pretty and charming, and I love it and hate it in about equal measure. But one thing’s for sure about the iPhone: It doesn’t compromise. It’s an Apple product, after all. You get what Mr. Jobs thinks is best for you. Mostly, he’s pretty much on the money, but it’s clear that when Apple’s wrong, the issue’s not open for debate.

And someone employed by MICROSOFT-NATIONAL BROADCASTING COMPANY is dissing an Apple product?
Oh my. I would have never guessed such a thing could happen!
An additional 30 bucks a month for the “media plan” was enough to ixnay any chance my family had of owning an Iphone as I type on my MacBook.
Keep buying those Iphones though, my Apple stock has recovered nicely and the shares I purchased 8 month ago have almost doubled.
Sweet!!!
