St. Louis Blues defenseman Jay McKee to undergo knee surgery
An X-ray taken Wednesday showed that Blues defenseman Jay McKee has a torn miniscus. He will undergo surgery next Tuesday.
A source said McKee had been playing with the injury for at least two months, but avoided an X-ray until after the season. McKee also had a shoulder injury that hampered him in Game 4 of the playoffs. After hurting his shoulder in Game 3, McKee caught a rut in practice the morning of Game 4, falling on the ice and further injuring the shoulder.
