Blues orientation camp open to public
I just received the following press release from the Blues and thought fans might be interested … particularly since someone was just asking about this in Blues talk the other day. Here’s the release:
St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the team will hold a four-day pro orientation camp at St. Louis Mills beginning on July 8.
Blues prospects at this year’s camp include first round selections Ian Cole (2007), Lars Eller (2007) and Alex Pietrangelo (2008). Other players included at this year’s camp are Jake Allen, Ben Bishop, Philip McRae, Aaron Palushaj and Brett Sonne, along with other players in the Blues’ system and invited players.
All of the events at the pro-orientation camp, which will be held at the St. Louis Mills, are open to the public and free of charge. Fans in attendance will have an opportunity to meet the players and receive autographs. Practices will be held daily from July 8-10. The camp will conclude on Saturday, July 11 when the Gold Team plays the Blue Team in a scrimmage at 11 a.m.
