Enterprise moves up on career-launch list
BusinessWeek is out with its 2009 ranking of best places to launch a career, and it was tough to find employers that are still doing a lot of hiring. That makes Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which had filled 3,950 entry-level positions this year through June 1, something of a standout. And it’s why Enterprise, a fixture on this career-launch list, moved up to No. 15 this year from 26th place last year. Enterprise’s starting pay isn’t great — all entry-level folks start at less than $35,000 a year — but the average new hire gets $8,500 worth of training, BusinessWeek says.
If you want to work for the best of the best, go into accounting. The Big Four — Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and KPMG — occupy the top four places in this year’s ranking.

Enterprise should be classified as a “churn mill”, thus the number of openings and fillings.
Not to mention the number of people they have laid off this year…churn and burn. Still a good place to get experience if your willing to put up with the low pay and poor management.
