No bonus, but LaBarge CEO earns $987,294
Craig LaBarge earned $987,294 last year as chief executive of LaBarge Inc., the company disclosed in a proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. His salary came to $550,700, a 3 percent increase over the previous fsical year, and he was credited with $401,329 worth of stock based on the company’s system of three-year performance incentives. However, he and other officers took a 5 percent salary cut on May 4, less than two months before the fiscal year ended on June 28, and they received no annual bonus. They also earned no stock awards for the 2007-2009 period because earnings were less than the plan’s threshold level.
Craig LaBarge’s pay also included $35,185 in perquisites, including a 401k match, car allowance and club dues.
Profits were down 30 percent last year at LaBarge, an electronics manufacturer.

Hmm, wonder if he will be able to squeak by with only making $987000. Did they lay off anyone?
wolfie,
How many people you employ last year?
That’s what I thought.
So what? Isn’t LaBarge a private company? Why is it noteworthy how much someone makes? This is America - and some are achieving wealth. Isn’t that what makes America great?
LaBarge is a publicly traded company.
He and his team are what make LaBarge a great company, financially and to work for. Executives don’t work 40 hours a week - they’re luck to get that many hours off a week.
This seems to be the thing to do, publish CEO salaries to help create the class warfare.
Mr. Nicklaus, how much do you make?
