No bonuses — again — for Allied Healthcare executives
Allied Healthcare Products disclosed today that Chief Executive Earl Refsland got a 3 percent salary increase last year but, for the third year in a row, he and other executives got no annual bonuses. The company also won’t pay bonuses in fiscal 2010, Allied says in a proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Refsland’s salary last year was $391,562. Other items, including insurance and a 401k match, brought his total pay to $445,527. His perquisites included a car allowance of $22,630 and tax gross-ups of $8,930.
Allied, based in St. Louis, makes respiratory products. It lost $16.8 million in its latest fiscal year, which ended in June.

awwww, that’s ashame.
Wow. I don’t know if I could get by on only $445,527.
Well, I’m an unemployed asthmatic who can no longer afford to buy my medications due to health coverage denials based on my pre-existing condition. I’m going half-dosage on what I have until (crosses fingers) I have full-time employment. So no, the respiratory product industry is not seeing any revenue from folks in my situation.
