Eagle takes wing in new A-B InBev logo
When it announced its plan to buy Anheuser-Busch, InBev pledged to keep the Clydesdales and other important A-B symbols. Today’s news release on the completion of the merger makes clear that the Anheuser-Busch eagle is here to stay, too. In fact, it’s been incorporated into the new parent-company insignia. As logos go, the new one is not bad, but this eagle appears to be flying away, which makes one wonder where it’s going. I have a feeling St. Louisans will remain nostalgic for the old A-and-Eagle, with its fiercer-looking bird.

Looks like clip art - way to go InBev.
This logo strips AB of all it’s “regal” precense. The “King of Beers” is now just another sanitized corporate conglomerate. Sad, sad, sad.
No thought was put into this design. A more fierce eagle should go the other way maybe from behind the logo, its wings spread across ab and InBev joining the two together.
instead of an eagle, perhaps a vulture would be more appropriate…
I find it too cheap, just like Inbev to start out on the wrong foot. Makes me want to start drinking Stag what next. JUst use the old logo
I wonder what will become of the AB sign on Hwy 40 that used to be in Sportsman’s Park.
My cockatiel looks meaner in the morning than this little canary
My first thought when I saw this on the announcement of the deal closing was the same as yours - where is the eagle going? Are they trying to tell us something? Why would InBev do that when they know how sensitive (understandably) St. Louisans are to the take over?
Doesn’t really look like an eagle with those colors.
Looks like a wimp compared to the old AB fierce looking eagle.
Is that an albatross?
this could be the ugliest logo i have ever seen, of anything.. that in bev needs to be much smaller or just take it off..overall though this is a ugly ugly let me say that again ugly logo
