Job-market analyst loses his job
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Russ Signorino, a highly respected local labor-market analyst, is in the market for a new job himself. Signorino had been vice president of research at the United Way of Greater St. Louis, and he says in an email that the agency decided to eliminate its research function.
Russ is widely quoted in the press — in this column and this editorial, for instance — and he takes a back seat to no one in his knowledge of work-force issues and the local job market. If you need a recommendation, Russ, I’d be happy to provide one.
