About the graphic
Hot zones in the batting average are shaded orange if the player hits above .340 average and has a minimum of five At Bats in that zone or for that type of pitch.
Cold zones in the batting average are shaded blue if the player hits below .200 average and has a minimum of five At Bats in that zone or for that type of pitch.
Power zones are outlined in orange if the player’s slugging percentage is greater than .450 and has a minimum of five At Bats in the zone.
