Nina and Pinta visit Grafton, IL

Replicas of the Nina and the Pinta docked at the Loading Dock in Grafton, IL, on Tuesday.  The ships will open to the public starting Tuesday, Sept. 2nd, and will be docked there until their departure on early Monday morning, Sept. 7th.  The Nina was built by hand and without the use of power tools and is considered to be the most historically correct Columbus replica ever built.

Boeing celebrates 70 years in St. Louis

Boeing Co. and its predecessor company, McDonnell Douglas, celebrated 70 years in St. Louis on Thursday. Around 600 attended, including U.S. Sens. Kit Bond, R-Mo., and Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., Rep. Russ Carnahan, D-Mo., and former McDonnell Douglass Chief Executive John McDonnell.
