Thursday’s dinner pick: Pappy’s

If you’re in Midtown for the debate-viewing at SLU’s Chaifetz Center, you’re probably a Sarah Palin fan. And what better down-home governor’s food than barbecue? (No moose — at least not yet.) If you haven’t had Pappy’s yet, it’s some of the best you’ll find in St. Louis — or anywhere, for that matter. 3106 Olive.

Pappy’s is the place for all of you BBQ fans who fell in love with Super Smoker’s but do not live/work anywhere near their only remaining store in Eureka . I am a huge fan of Pappy’s!
