Tuesday’s lunch pick: Four Seasons Vietnamese
P-D Restaurant Critic and Food Writer
No, not that expensive hotel downtown. Four Seasons Vietnamese is at 3348 South Grand, and it has the typically extensive menu of local Vietnamese restaurants (plus some unusual items like game birds). But it also has one of the nicest interiors of any Vietnamese spot in town, and certainly one of the nicer decors on South Grand.

Joe Bonwich has been the restaurant critic for the Post-Dispatch since 2002 and has covered the local food scene for various publications for more than 25 years. He does his best to maintain his anonymity so that he isn't recognized in restaurants (which is why his picture looks like it does).
This is my FAVORITE spot back home for a quick, delicious and reasonably priced dinner! I miss it soooooo much. I even miss the staff. Can’t go wrong with number 134…stir fried chicken with chili and lemongrass….my mouth is watering just talking about it…and the coconut bubble tea…yum.
Super family owned/run…..it’s great for lunch too, closed on a mid-weekday possibly Wed? It’s Chinese selections have a good amount of vegetables even as garnish, so when one of my sons orders a deep fried sauced chicken dish it comes ringed in blanched broccoli. With more meat than batter ratio, which in too many cases is not the case.
The spring rolls and bao bia are exceptional!
It’s closed on Tuesdays.
I thought it was closed on Wednesdays. (At least it used to be. Too bad I didn’t see this note earlier — I was just down at Cafe Natasha earlier today and could have looked.)
You were right Joe….Four Seasons is closed on Weds…Pho is closed on Tues.
