Opening Wednesday: Bobo Noodle House and Triumph Grill
A couple of long-in-process new restaurants will open their doors Wednesday: Bobo Noodle House, Zoe Robinson’s new endeavor at 278 North Skinker, is Asian-themed with counter service and seating about two dozen. Longtime Robinson collaborator Ny Vongsaly is in the kitchen, making chicken with Chinese eggplant, spicy green curry and, of course, lots of noodle dishes. Call 314-863-7373 for more information.
Triumph, 3419 Olive Street, has chef Aaron Baggett, formerly of Nordstrom’s, in the kitchen, with a menu that had consulting help from former Crazy Fish owner Chris LaRocca. Todd Wyatt, also formerly of Crazy Fish and elsewhere, is the general manager.

Joe Bonwich has been the restaurant critic for the Post-Dispatch since 2002 and has covered the local food scene for various publications for more than 25 years. He does his best to maintain his anonymity so that he isn't recognized in restaurants (which is why his picture looks like it does).
Those places seems to be nice, but maybe a little to ritzy for me.What I need to know is the Captain D’s on Gravois being re-opened?The building is being fixed up and I can almost bet it going be a Captains D’s again They shut down about 10 months ago at that location.
Captain D’s is not going back on Gravois. I spoke to the rehabbers last week and it’s going to be a “pizzaria”. Just how many will the south side support? At least it has a large dining area (as in larger than Imo’s or Talayna’s).
Are they going serve beer?(the pizza place)
Triumph Grill is a fun space, warm atmosphere serving outstanding food. Try the salmon flatbreads, sushi tacos and wedge salad to start!! So much more too…..check it out!
