St. Louis Culinary Olympians win gold

Word from Erfurt, Germany that the American Culinary Foundation Youth Team — Mike Bush, Mike Palazzola, Kevin G. Taylor Jr., Wayne Sieve and J.T. Gelineau, all from the St. Louis area — has already captured a gold medal in the ongoing IKA International Culinary Art Competition, the Culinary Olympics. Team coach and Old Warson chef Aidan Murphy passed along the news that chef Chris Desens of The Racquet Club in Ladue has also won a gold. The overall World Champions will be named on Wednesday. <a
