LoRusso’s wine dinner features Doobie Brothers’ manager’s winery
Rich and Terri LoRusso will host a wine dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday night (Nov. 30) featuring B.R. Cohn wines. And there’s a pretty good back story on this one: First of all, Cohn has managed the Doobie Brothers for 36 years. Second, this dinner is the only place in St. Louis where you can sample these particular wines. Rich and Terri personally brought them here and they’re not otherwise distributed in Missouri.
The dinner also includes playing of a DVD of the 2005 benefit concert for Katrina victims featuring the Doobies, Loggins & Messina, Taj Mahal and the Turtles. (Bonus question: Howard Kaylan of the Turtles — aka Eddie of Flo & Eddie — has a very intimate St. Louis radio connection. Who or what is it?)
The dinner is $90 per person inclusive. For reservations, call 314-647-6222.
