Sage restaurant: Second location, beer dinner, great wine deal
Let’s face it: Union Station hasn’t been looking all that great lately. The retail selection has dwindled, and several of the development’s restaurant spaces seem to have multiple tenants per year.
So it was very good news that Jack MacMurray of Sage would be opening a second restaurant — Beechwood Bistro by Sage — in March at the south plaza entrance to the Station. Features include an outdoor patio, signature dishes from the original Sage (including the shot-glass desserts), pizza and salads.
Thursday, Jan. 22, Sage hosts a beer dinner featuring the products of the fine brewery across the street from it.
And in a great deal for wine lovers, the restaurant (1031 Lynch Street in Soulard) is offering bottles of wine for the price of a glass Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays now until March.
