Restaurant updates: LoRusso’s lunch, Brandt’s chef, Soulard’s prix-fixe
Updates from some veteran area restaurants: LoRusso’s Cocina is now serving lunch Wednesday through Friday in its newly expanded lounge area.
Brandt’s Café has added Ben Welch as executive chef, and Welch has put together a new “Creole/Cajun meets St. Louis” menu. Johnson & Wales grad Welch is formerly of Blue Water Grill.
And Dan Badock has instituted a three course small-plates-and-wine pairing menu at Soulard’s for $24.95.
