Ricardo’s to celebrate 20th Anniversary Week

Ricardo’s, An Italian Cafe, kicks off its anniversary week next Tuesday, July 7 to celebrate 20 years in business at 1931 Park Avenue in Lafayette Square. Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m., Ricardo’s will feature a tasting of 15 Italian wines accompanied by appetizers from chef Mark Adams. Cost is $15.
Regular lunch hours will be held all week (including Tuesday), with 1989-priced $5.95 lunch specials. Regular dinner hours return from July 8-11, including reprises of favorite specials from past years.
Chef Adams also plans to host cooking classes in the fall. Adams’ son Tim plans to attend the French Culinary Institute in New York starting in the fall as well.
