Slow Food wine dinner at the Crossing July 7
The Crossing in Clayton will host a wine dinner Tuesday, July 7th, with food from Crossing chef/owner Jim Fiala, including grass-fed beef tenderloin from Rain Crow Ranch in Doniphan, cheeses from Goatsbeard Farm in Harrisburg and Missouri chanterelle mushrooms with herbs from Yellow Tree Farms in Affton.
Wines to be served include Ransom ‘Select’ Pinot Gris ’08, Willamette Valley, Oregon; Murphy’s Law White ‘07, Columbia Valley, Washington State; Ransom ‘Select’ Pinot Noir ’06, Willamette Valley, Oregon; Murphy’s Law Red ‘06, Columbia Valley, Washington State; and SNAFU Red wine, ‘05 California.
Cost of the dinner is $75/person, plus tax and tip. Proceeds benefit Slow Food St. Louis. For reservations, call 314-721-7375.
