If Missouri’s Attorney General Jay Nixon, who is running for governor, is sincere about his plan to offer free community college, it’s one of the best campaign promises I’ve heard in awhile.

While I think it’s an excellent idea, I am doubtful that a proposal like would pass the Legislature if he were elected. Good idea or is Nixon making false promises?
