More than New Year resolutions: Your new hopes and dreams

Let’s face it: 2008 has been a roller coaster year, most of the time plunging further and faster than the Dow.
The news has been dominated with stories about the economy teetering on collapse. We all know someone who has been laid off recently or can’t sell their house. Too many have lost their homes. Grocery prices raced along side gas prices, which recently fell behind.
It’s time to reset our sights to the promise of a new year. While all of us would be grateful for an end to the recession and a return to stability and prosperity, let’s venture outside the box. What are your hopes, dreams and wishes for 2009? Be honest, creative and original.
