No child needs a life-size cut-out of himself
I recently received a press release from a new company that produces customized, movable, life-sized cutout wall decals from standard digital images. Wall-U takes any digital picture, which could be a stand alone or action shot, enhances the picture 1,000 percent, making it high resolution and life sized. The cost ranges from $89-$110.
The company is marketing to parents who like to worship their children and give them VERY healthy self esteems. According to the release:
It’s one of the best options out there for taking your child’s favorite action shot or family moment and capturing it with their very own life-sized decal.
Does anyone else find this a little creepy?
You can check out their website here for additional information.

I love the idea. I don’t think being proud of your child or having them be excited about an accomplishment or their ability is a bad thing. I checked out the website and I like the concept and am interested. I would rather have my son with a picture of himself on the wall than I would some overpaid athlete that is out wasting money and making bad choices in their lives.
