Expecting moms, take note: St. John’s Mercy Hospital is throwing you a massive baby shower.

The BLOOM event will be this Saturday, April 18 at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  There will be several featured speakers, including headliners Debbie Phelps, mom of Olympian Michael Phelps, and Dr. Harvey Karp, author of “The Happiest Baby on the Block.”

I’m also presenting a talk title: “OMG! U R OOC: What your media savvy kids will never tell you, but every parent needs to know.”

The event also has special activities, contests and door prizes. There will also be more than 40 vendors and  informal “Conversations with Physician Specialists”, free heart health screenings and free chair massages.

Normally, the admission pass is $35 and includes  boxed lunch and refreshments, a tote bag, and eligibility for contests and attendance prizes. BUT, just today, I will give free admission tickets to the first ten pregnant moms to send me an email: asultan@post-dispatch.com
