Would you put your childbirth video on YouTube?
Aisha Sultan

Forget the Lamaze classes. Pregnant mommas can get an eyeful of education from YouTube. If you search for childbirth videos, you will see results including very graphic vaginal and Cesarean deliveries.

I could not imagine sharing such an intimate and private experience with millions of potential viewers, but maybe some of these ladies feel as though they are providing a public service.  During our childbirth classes, we watched the movie at St. John’s, which looked like it had been filmed in 1970.  It was a real eye-opener for me.

During my labor and delivery, I did not want a camera in the room. Really, it was enough to have my husband and mom in the room. For those who did shoot the video, would you ever consider posting it on YouTube?
