What: To celebrate 25 years of serving children and families and to give back to the community, the National Center for Parents as Teachers will host a free, fun-filled event for families in and around St. Louis featuring BLOCK Fest and dozens of interactive activities and exhibits for families with young kids.
BLOCK Fest is an interactive series of stations that uses various sizes and types of blocks to promote early math, science and reasoning skills. Each activity has a specific role for the parent and child.
Who: All area families with children from 8 months to 8 years old
When: Saturday, October 3; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: St. Charles Convention Center

Admission and parking are free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Why: Playing with blocks helps children develop early math, science and literacy skills in a fun, interactive way.
