Never too young to volunteer

This morning I visited the Republican Party for a video on the Get Out The Vote efforts from its HQ in Maryland Heights. Granted it has been awhile since I have covered the phone banks for a presidential election, but I was surprised to find two teenagers there dialing up voters. From left to right are friends Josh Pogue,15, of Muscotah, Illinois and Jacob Wyatt, 13, of O’Fallon, Illinois. Both of these boys spent their day off school on the phone banks for McCain. And although they could not vote quite yet, they certainly knew their candidate.
