Festivals galore

For the entire month of September, I was on what some photographers on staff like to call “festival duty.” I worked on Saturdays and Sundays and photographed two or three area festivals every weekend. I didn’t realize there were SO many festivals, from Strassenfest to the Green Homes Festival to the Kirkwood Greentree Festival to the Greek Festival and too many others to name. And I’m not counting the annual Balloon Glow because I actually photographed that on a Friday. Some of these photos made it into the newspaper while most of the others ended up in online photo galleries. Here’s a small sampling of what I saw over the last few weeks.
