Grocery bag promotion at Rams game - a good idea?

As a life-long New Orleans Saints fan, I know a bit about losing football teams and can write with authority on the topic.
So I had to snicker a bit to myself when noticing the Rams promotional giveaway that fans were given as they filed through the turnstiles yesterday to watch their Rams play Kurt Warner and the Arizona Cardinals.
Perhaps National City Bank might have picked a different promotion for a 1-9 football team.

The Warner clip is outstanding! Those women were so excited! That brought out a big warm laugh. But then again, I wouldn’t have been far behind them. Kurt Warner is one class act.
As soon as they handed us the bags, I knew fans would be putting these over their heads.
Even with that, I liked the bag promotion. One can never have enough to take to the grocery store. I just wish they would give out these promo items as people leave. This bag was (obviously) easy to carry around. The stuff like posters and stuff just get trashed as the game progresses.
