We made the Daily Show

John Oliver of The Daily Show films a spot in front of the MSNBC tent at on the campus of Washington University prior to the vice-presidential debate. Robert Cohen | Post-Dispatch

Did anyone see The Daily Show on Monday? If you did, you almost saw me! Just for before the debate started, The Daily Show correspondent John Oliver sat right next to me and pretended to eat dinner as PD staffers pretended to work. The Daily Show crew then really videotaped him fake eating. On Monday, the show ran and showed PD reporters Jake Wagman and Adam Jadhav soaking up the fame alongside the napkin-draped Oliver. What you don’t see is my right pin-striped suit covered arm. So, while photographers Cohen and Carson were working hard to record history, I was almost MAKING history by doing nothing at all.
