While millions of people were watching the developments of election night through the eyes of television or maybe in person at Grant Park in Chicago, where President-elect Barack Obama gave his first speech after winning the presidential election, photographer David Katz was in the hotel room with the future first family as they watched the poll results come in. Katz is described as a longtime photographer of President-elect Obama and may actually end up being one of the official White House photographers who will follow him in the years to come.
