Keeping a Low Profile
I can’t go to a wedding and not take a camera. I wasn’t official, but that doesn’t mean I can’t make images. My neighbor’s daughter, Allyson Rhomberg, now Williams, got married last weekend. I was glad that they didn’t ask me to shoot the wedding. They probably knew that I would bring my camera and give them lots of images anyway. But then, I spent too much time watching the official photographers work. They use fill flash, I don’t. They had their angles picked out so that the whole event was well orchestrated and documented. I stayed out of their way and found my own angles.
Hopefully, my images will add to the whole experience. That’s what I call stress-free shooting.
