Stephanie S. Cordle is a staff photographer and night picture editor at the Post-Dispatch. She joined the newspaper in 2005 as sports and night picture editor, getting a chance to follow the Cardinals run to the World Series in 2006. A West Virginia native, she has worked as a staff photographer for The Herald in Everett, Wash., and The Charleston Gazette in Charleston, W.Va. Her work has been honored by the National Press Photographers Association in its Best of Photojournalism contest, the Society for News Design and the Society of Professional Journalists Pacific Northwest. She graduated from the University of Kentucky. She lives in St. Louis with her husband Todd and son Eli.
