Teeny tiny design assistant
I was scheduled to shoot a holiday mantel makeover with designer Paige Gilbertson of Graphic Organic Design earlier this week. Gilbertson brought one of the most adorable (and smallest) design assistants I’ve ever seen, her seven week-old son Oliver.
For the most part Oliver was content to hang out and watch his mom work, but after a while he became a bit fussy, and Post-Dispatch columnist Aisha Sultan stepped in to entertain young Oliver. Drawing on her mothering skills, she worked some magic of her own, lulling Oliver to sleep so that the shoot could continue.
Look for the holiday mantel makeovers in the November 28th edition of the Post-Dispatch.

A great example of teamwork! Aisha looks quite pleased in this shot. Is it because of the joy of holding an infant? Her skill at bringing quiet to the room? or perhaps she’d really like . . .
:))
I like the positioning and size contrast in Aisha’s and Oliver’s hands. Nice shot!
