I love foul ball photos. I love the drama as a 5 ounce rock falls out of the sky and into the hands of expectant fans. This photo was taken from centerfield during a Sunday night Cardinals game against the Chicago Cubs at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. It’s fun to scan through all the faces in the crowd. There are the folks who are fighting to get to the ball. There are those who want nothing to do with the ball. And then there’s the guy (bottom left corner) who uses a paper napkin to shield himself from the ball.
