Techno Forbes
This is my new office mug. Really. I’m not on drugs. I’m on black light. I had an assignment at the St. Louis Science Center in connection with SciFest, a series of demonstrations and lectures about the practical uses of science. I was struggling to find a standalone photo that would be interesting and storytelling. Then, I spotted the Techno Bubbles booth. A bubble machine was putting glowing bubbles into the air. The only way to get a photo was for me to get close to the machine. And that meant I had lots of bubbles popping all over me and my camera. I didn’t realize I was glowing until I got close to the black light. So I had to do a self-portrait. I think it’s a keeper.
