Kodachrome Christmas?

Still looking for that special gift? Here’s a thought I bet you haven’t thought of.

If you still have any rolls of Kodachrome, start spinning that Simon & Garfunkel record and send your film to Dwayne’s Photo in Parsons, Kansas. That’s right, there’s still one place on Earth where you can develop those Kodachrome moments.

A couple of weeks ago Mike Hutmacher at the Wichita Eagle posted a story about the photo lab, and even included a slideshow. http://www.kansas.com/news/local/story/614962.html

Could there possibly be a more unique gift than finally developing the film that’s been in your dad’s closet for 30 years? Oh, and if you have any fuji ektachrome that even (gasp) Kodak disc film, send that along, too. (I know, can you believe it?)

A special thanks to photographer and friend Cary Conover for letting us know about Dwayne’s.
