Earl Strawn
Last week I worked the early shift which means you start bright and early at 7 AM. And the snowy weather
last week meant I had plenty of opportunity for early morning weather related feature hunting. Although this photograph already ran in the paper last week, I wanted to share it again since I am so excited to have made the frame. Part of the challenge of feature hunting is trying to find a fresh angle on a everyday scene or find a not-so-common everyday scene.
I can honestly say when I saw Earl Strawn shoveling his walk with his cane in had that this was something I had never seen before. Ofcourse, Mr. Strawn saw his activity as mundane. But I am pretty sure his determination put those of us who didn’t shovel their own sidewalk that morning to shame.
