Rainy, rainy, rainy days in St. Louis come to a close

“I feel like we’re in Seattle,” said Ed Morton as he tried to keep dry while selling pumpkins at the Lafayette Area Optimist Club’s pumpkin patch on Manchester Road.   Because of so much rain, the wettest October on record, Morton didn’t think business would be brisk enough to sell the rest of his stock before closing.

Hopefully it’s gone in enough time to rescue Halloween.  Because Spiderman is waiting.
