Video toybox is great for still photographers

I’ve become intrigued by our new little video lights, but not only for videos. They are just so handy for still photography, especially when I need something small.
Such was the case a couple weeks back when photographing homemade liqueurs at Fond in Edwardsville. The tiny mason jars needed direct light from behind to illuminate the contents. It nestled beautifully, hidden behind the larger jar.
I’m normally not one to enjoy photographic toys, but this one sure is cool when used outside the box.

Thanks for the info. I do macro photography and have been looking for a relatively inexpensive light source such as this one.
