Nixon cuts more than $100 million in spending; freezes more

—When Matt Blunt balanced the state budget by cutting spending three years ago, while almost every other state was bleeding red ink, he was run through the mill by the P.D. for that. Let’s see how they portray this bit of news in the next few days. Should be “revealing”.
Oh come on dr-debunk… Nixon will be made the hero, you know that, same as I do.
While I’m all for cutting state spending Nixon is cutting spending or placing a hold on it… including projects funded by federal stimulus funds.

Governor Nixon is cutting the funds for a China Wal-Mart “hub” at Lambert Airport.
That’s slightly different than cutting 120,000 Missouri children from Medicaid.
