State Democratic Party chairman John Temporiti is heralding Secretary of State Robin Carnahan’s decision not to challenge Attorney General Jay Nixon for governor.

Temporiti — who has made a point of trying to prevent multi-candidate Democratic primaries — said he had no hand in Carnahan’s action.

He said the two had not talked since speculation arose surrounding her possible bid for governor. But in an interview before her statement was issued, he said, “In my heart of hearts, I think she will do the right thing.”

From his perspective, she apparently did.

That is good news! Carnahan will make an excellent governor is 2016 (she’s young enough to do it).

What great news for Dems. They now have a chance to make a clean sweep of all 5 open state offices(Gov, Lt Gov, Treasurer, AG and SOS) and the 9th District seat. Thank you to the incumbant republicains that are willingly giving up sure re-election to fight the best Republicain governor candidate(Hulshof). What a day

Temporiti needs to quit backing the imposter for attorney general. The imposter voted for the Blunt agenda. including the health care cuts. He is a phony and the democratic party needs to quit supporting him. If he has to support anyone he should support Margaret Donnelly. Temporiti needs to go.
