New UM chief Forsee: “Can you hear me now?”
New University of Missouri President Gary Forsee, the former Sprint executive, is looking for a new spokesman. According to a release from the university, current spokesman Scott Charton is leaving the university to start his own consulting firm. Charton is quite the familiar face in Jefferson City, having been AP’s longtime Capitol reporter before David Lieb took the reins. The release, in which Forsee and Charton go to great pains to compliment each other, says Charton will be doing his consulting in both Columbia and Jefferson City.
Perhaps another political consultant enters the election year fray?
