Obama speech reverberates locally
Adam Jadhav

The speech on race, religion and politics last week by Sen. Barack Obama continues to make headlines around the country. Locally, the Missouri History Museum is hosting a group discussion Thursday night of the themes raised by Obama’s speech and the heavy question of race and division in America.

The discussion is free to attend and runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the museum in Forest Park at Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue. As many as 100 are expected to attend.

This won’t be the first time the History Museum has held a group discussion on a national political topic. Dozens of people attended an event following the furor over the comments subsequent firing of New York radio host Don Imus.

Enter the museum from the south side; the event will be held in the AT&Troom.
