Snow way: Police bill hearing canceled again
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Supporters of a push to regain local control of the St. Louis Police Department can only hope their attempts to get a House hearing is not indicative of their overall success.
A hearing on a bill that would dismantle the state-appointed Police Board was canceled -again.
The first time, the hearing was rescheduled because it was apparently sent to the wrong committee. Today, weather was the culprit. Though we’re told its pleasant in Jefferson City, the snow storm prevented City Hall officials from trekking to the capital to testify.
